Who we are
THE EDIT ROOM is a 7-day online CapCut editing class taught by Ms.Chi. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean THE EDIT ROOM, and "you" means the person who pays for or takes the class.
The class
- The class runs online for 7 days, from Monday 26 October to Sunday 1 November 2026.
- Lessons, tasks and feedback happen in a private Telegram group. You need a Telegram account to take part.
- We post one lesson each morning. If we ever need to move a lesson or change the schedule, we'll tell you in the group first.
Paying and joining
- The price is the one shown at checkout: ₦8,000 if you pay before Sunday 25 October 2026 at 11:59pm (WAT), and ₦10,000 after that.
- Payments are processed by HitchPay. We never see or store your card details.
- Your place is confirmed once HitchPay confirms your payment. You then get the link to request to join the Telegram group.
- Use the Telegram username you gave at checkout so we can match your request to your payment.
Your access
- Your place is for you only. Please don't share the group link, or pass your place to someone else, without asking us first.
- We may remove anyone who shares the class content or link, or who is abusive in the group. If that happens, the Refund Policy still applies.
Lesson content
The lessons, videos, templates and task briefs belong to THE EDIT ROOM. You can use them to learn and to make your own videos. You can't record, copy, resell or re-upload them.
Your work
The videos you edit for the class belong to you. We'll only share your work outside the group, for example as an example on our pages, if you say yes first.
Behaviour in the group
Be kind and respectful. No spam, no adverts, and no sharing other people's personal details or work without their permission.
Results
We'll teach you the skills in the curriculum and give feedback on your tasks. How far you go, and how many views your videos get, depends on you. We can't promise specific results.
Our responsibility
We're responsible for running the class as described. As far as the law allows, our total responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid for the class. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under Nigerian consumer protection law.
Refunds
All payments are final. See the Refund Policy for the details and the two exceptions.
Your data
How we collect and use your details is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change affects a class you've already paid for, we'll tell you in the group.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
